Das geht aus einer vor wenigen Tagen versandten Mitteilung Steiners hervor: "It may be known that Michael Roos has recently sold his shares of Asher Rare Books and retired as director of the company. Suddenly I was in search of the great new adventure. The new adventure is now the firm's daily management in cooperation with Laurens Hesselink (Antiquariaat Forum). We will – at the same location – continue to manage the firm in the former style […].The results of this cooperation for me will be many more and much longer fairs, no breaking up at Saturday nights, and most of all the question: will Forum reduce or will Asher raise its prices?"
Auf eine Anfrage von boersenblatt.net von gestern nach weiteren Hintergrundinformationen liegt bislang noch keine Antwort vor (vermutlich wegen der bevorstehenden Antiquariatsmesse in Kalifornien, auf der Asher und Forum ausstellen). Steiner (Jg. 1946) ist seit vier Jahrzehnten für Asher tätig.
