Der britische Antiquariatsverband Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA) startet einen neuen elektronischen Newsletter. Erste Ausgabe erschien in dieser Woche.
Prinzipiell soll der Newsletter über die Aktivitäten des Verbands informieren. Zu Beginn der ersten Ausgabe des Newsletters (April 2011) heißt es: "We hope this new initiative will provide an up-to-minute service to help keep you up to date with our fairs and other useful information about our association and its activities. Any new fairs, any changes to the calendar, book fair 'highlights', and hopefully much more, to keep you informed about the UK’s largest and most vibrant association of rare and secondhand booksellers."
Die Einführung endet jedoch mit der Aufforderung über die virtuelle Antiquariatswelt den stationären Handel nicht zu vergessen: "And remember, this may be a 'virtual' newsletter, but our members' books are the real thing. Come and see them at any of our hundred fairs around the country, or in that threatened species, the real book shop."
